Here at JJN Multimedia, we believe in investing in the future of Southern West Virginia and giving back to our local communities. This is our home and with the increased success we’ve been experiencing, our desire to give back is stronger than ever. Our young people are our future, so what better way to give back than with a scholarship? Introducing the first annual JJN Multimedia Dream Booster Award, a $2,000 scholarship awarded to a local high school senior intending to pursue higher education, go into a trade, or start a business.
Are you a high school senior from Southern West Virginia? Great! Do you have big dreams and goals? Awesome! We want to hear every detail. Send us a 60 second video shot on your phone telling us all about it. All content must be original with no copywritten material or music, but get creative – we love creativity!
– 60 second phone video with the subject “My Dream Is…”
– Deadline for entry: 3/1/20
– Must be a high school senior from McDowell, Wyoming, Mercer, Mingo, Logan, Raleigh, or Monroe County.
– Top 10 finalists will be selected by a panel.
– Top 10 finalists will be posted on Facebook and chosen by community vote.
– Video with most reactions, shares, and reach combined wins.
– NO copywritten material or music. Submission must be original.
– $1,000 check
– $1,000 for reimbursable expenses (books, equipment, fees, etc.)
– Must involve college, trade, or business start-up goals.
