On an early August morning, before the sun came up, the JJN Team hit the road to Sissonville to meet up with the folks at Cook’s Excavating. As one of our first clients, we’re grateful to have spent many years working with the Cook’s crew on their website and photography needs. But this time, our focus was to shoot a commercial for the construction company.

We met up with Jake Cook and his team outside of Sissonville to film a typical day in the life of the construction crew. It’s always a good day on the job when we get to film bulldozers, dump trucks and other large equipment! As a former coal miner, J.D. was in his element getting shots of earth moving and dirt hauling.

Throughout August and September, we got to spend a little more time with the Cook’s crew, checking out their sites in Raleigh and Wyoming counties. We got shots of the crew hauling dirt, stabilizing a steep hillside and seeding a worksite.

We had a great time with the Cook’s team and have loved working with them while they continue to grow and expand their offerings. Check out their latest commercial below!
